I no longer know of what I am writing,
I am now but a mad man, deeply indicting,
My thoughts are senseless and irellevant too,
I feel as an elder in a dreary, thick mist of blue,
Aimlessly walking throughout this life, as it were,
Unsure of consequence, and totally blissful for sure,
I sleep as I return home,
Do little so much as to stare at my comb,
Later to merely fall into great slumber,
Counting, one, two, and many a number,
For I was sleepy, I was tired,
I was all but wired,
Throughout my day of heavy backpacks,
And high stairs with little slacks,
My back, hurts throughout the day,
Is but fine as I may make my way,
Into drowsiness, that big confusing plunder,
Never to be interrupted, not by alarm, nor by thunder,
I dream, I think, I feel,
Of events that will never be real,
Reviewing my day, thought by thought,
Of homework, tests, and goals yet to be sought,
This is the time where I care very little,

Christmas Time
Christmas time, with its wintery bliss, is season that has been misconstrued in innumerable ways in terms of religious belief, historical accuracy, and the virtue of sharing that proponents of the holiday are so apt to boast. Now I'm not a scrooge, but after celebrating what has been sixteen Christmases now, I've gotten to thinking what I should have several years ago: how commercialized Christmas is, and how shameless retailers are, as if to genericize Christmas to a purely consumerist-oriented "holiday" as it were.
While a Charlie Brown-themed view of Christmas tells us to share, at the very least, in commemoration of Christ, that is in fact a characteristic we as Christians believe He exemplified. To many a retailer's relief, this promotion of sharing in turn

Petrol-fueled vehicles contribute a great deal to the green house gases and dismantling of the ozone layer that we so fear. Alternatives to petrol such as electricity and water vapor have incredulously been implemented by auto manufacturers in the form of various concept cars. Sadly, the bulk of those concept cars may never see the light of day, nor catch the public eye for their obscure stylings.
Should electric-powered vehicles be integrated into society within the near future, utility providers would see no reason to not charge an excessive price on electricity usage, rendering the price to charge an electric-powered vehicle nearly equal to the price at the petrol pumps. Which is even more ironic, as much of the electricity that we use today is achieved through the burning of coal. Coal, being [figure - %] more harmful to the environment than petrol...
While water vapor, nearly ideal in every aspect would set a premium on drinking and utility water, [doesn't produce the necessary horsepower relied on by many trucks and oversized vehicles in this modern age? true?]

Mom,
I could go out and buy you a witty Hallmark card or an expensive present you'll use once or twice. So I've outsmarted you this time!
"I know," I said to myself, "I'll get her something she can't find in any old store!"
It is everlasting,
Enduring,
It will take us through the good and the bad,
Through death and disease,
It is the highly-objectified cliché of love.
But unlike most clichés, mine is earnest, selfless, seeks no reward and unconditional.
It is a travesty.
That other mother-son relationships haven't been as good as ours.
That they haven't been able to say what is on their mind to each other.
Or that they haven't been around for each other -- doing nothing but to please and serve themselves.
It is a pity there isn't a built-in microchip, perhaps more logically, an instinct in us all.
One that tells us that if we truly desire to reap the benefits of a relationship, we must
be present socially, physically and spiritually,
be willing to mull over even the most tumultuous of days in day-to-day discourse,
understand that perfection is impossible
and that whoever you are today is acceptable.
